Simonetta (Irene) Jung (b. 1917-d. 2005)

Born on September 1, 1917 in Palermo, Italy, she died in Brussels, Belgium on June 28, 2005.

She was married to Angelo Vigevani with whom she had a daughter Diana. Vigevani died in a car accident when their daughter was seventeen years old.  She remarried and then lived in Brussels with her husband Hubert De Schryver who was a Belgian consul.

Her work was exhibited around the world, including San Francisco, California.
